The Division of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs (GEPA) is there at every step in a graduate student’s career, helping students navigate their path from admission to graduation and beyond. Working in collaboration with faculty, staff and students, GEPA guides today’s scholars on their upward trajectory to becoming tomorrow’s leaders. We've partenered with key resources on campus to create job opportunities for current master's and doctoral students, in the form of part time internships. In addition to their area specific duties, the interns participate in a year-long leadership development course, facilitated by GEPA.
The GEPA Student Affairs Interns support the full scope of the unit activities and events including: outreach and recruitment, graduate preparation programs for prospective students, professional development for current graduate students, and marketing and communications geared toward prospective applicants and current students.
In partnership with the Organizational Transformation, the OAR² Graduate Intern team implements inclusive and interdisciplinary programming for the graduate student community at UC San Diego. The primary goals are to strengthen the sense of community and increase the sense of belonging amongst graduate students at UC San Diego. These interns work at each of the seven Campus Community Centers.
These Graduate Intern positions are posted on Handshake when they're open. If you have questions about any of the above intern positions please contact the department in charge of the Handshake posting.
