Xiao Ma is a PhD student in Chemical and Nano Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on computational electrocatalysis, particularly the oxygen evolution reaction and carbon dioxide reduction. Using density functional theory and molecular dynamics simulations, he studies catalytic processes at electrochemical interfaces. His work aims to better understand reaction mechanisms and support the development of cleaner energy technologies. Ma has published research in journals including Angewandte Chemie, Chem Catalysis, among others.
